What is Keys2Drive?

 

Keys2Drive is a government initiative which provides learner drivers and their parents/supervisors with a free lesson with an accredited driving instructor from Leyla Driving School. Keys2drive and the delivery of lessons by Leyla Driving School are designed to help improve driver safety by fostering a partnership between learners, their supervising drivers and professional driving instructors. The initiative encourages learner driver’s to establish a lifelong learning approach to their driving skills whilst simultaneously getting learner’s parents/guardians actively involved in this process.

How is it beneficial?

Keys2drive does not replace existing driver training; instead, the program complements and works parallel with other learning programs. This is done by advising new drivers on how to best approach the learning process and take control of their own learning, encouraging them to 'Find Their Own Way'. This may sound like a risky and daunting message, but it makes sense to teach learner drivers these skills under the surveillance of a supervisor/trainer before they are forced to find their own way alone as a P plater.

 

 

How do I book my free Keys2Drive Lesson?

1. Register with keys2drive. You must have your Ls as you will need to provide your licence number.

2. You will be given a unique free session ID which you will need to quote when you book your lesson with us.

3. Call Leyla Driving School on 0401 862 092 to book your lesson with an accredited keys2drive instructor.
