Practical Driving Lessons

Aren't all Driving Lessons the same?

Not at all. We believe that a practical driving lesson is more than just being taught 'what to do' and 'how to do it' by driving instructors. An effective driving lesson has to encompass and develop behavioral, technical and practical skills which are critical in becoming a safer driver on the road. Our purpose is to provide students with the necessary fundamental and advanced skills and thought processes which they would require to become safer solo drivers when they receive their provisional licence. This can only be done through collaborating with the learner through our Student-Centered Learning approach  so that the areas that require more practice are focused on and a tailored system is applied for each individual learner’s needs.

The Student Centered Learning Approach

We believe that learning takes place in contexts relevant to each leaner. This means that you cannot deliver rigid lessons to every individual. This is highly ineffective and more importantly, a huge waste of your time and money. To avoid this, Leyla Driving School has adopted a Student-Centered Learning approach which allows students to focus on their weaknesses and areas of concern whilst learning in a way that allows them to create their own path, rather than follow a pre-set one.

What do you do?

We provide tailor made driving lessons which revolve around the student’s needs and requirements from first time lessons to night driving and overseas license conversion. We can advise you on the type of lesson you require by having a brief few minutes consultation with you over the phone or in person.
