GLOW-IN-THE-DARK ROADS MAKE DEBUT IN NETHERLANDS

Light-absorbing glow-in-the-dark road markings have replaced streetlights on a 500m stretch of highway in the Netherlands. The Project was initiated by Studio Roosegaarde in 2012 but had to comply with strict government regulations to turn the project into reality.

News reports in Netherlands have said "It looks like you are driving through a fairytale," which pretty much sums up this extraordinary project.

The fairytale comparison is spot on—those glowing markings must feel surreal at night. I’m curious how they hold up in rain or snow, though. I’ve been reading more about smart road tech over at https://stl-viewer.org

The glow-in-the-dark markings really do look like something out of a fairytale—I just wonder how they hold up in heavy rain or fog. I've been using https://ai-logo-generator.com

The "driving through a fairytale" quote is spot on—I can only imagine how surreal that 500m stretch feels at night. Wonder how they handle maintenance on those light-absorbing markings, though. I've been reading up on similar innovations https://3d-ai-generator.com

The glow-in-the-dark markings look straight out of a fairytale, but I’m curious how they hold up in heavy rain or fog compared to standard streetlights. This 500m stretch is a bold first step, though—wonder if we’ll see it expand beyond the Netherlands. I’ve been checking out https://nemotron-ai.com
